Salman Khan gift a honeymoon package for Riteish & Genelia

Salman Khan didn’t make it to the marriage celebration of actors Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza. But the star is all set to compensate for his absence. He is said to have surprised the newly wed with a holiday vacation as a gift.

Well, since Salman had a very tight schedule, shooting in Cuba for ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, he couldn’t make it to the marriage. However, the actor sent his best wishes across, and will meet them as soon as he reaches India.

Well, the holiday vacation that we mentioned above will be a surprise gift for the couple. Since, Riteish and Genelia haven’t planned their honeymoon trip yet, Salman Khan will gift them a honeymoon package.

Even though we are only into February, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza’s post and pre-wedding parties could go on to be strong contenders for the 2012’s most well-attended dos. Spread over a few days, the functions saw Bollywood’s leading ladies and men ditch Western formals in favour of traditional Indian wear. But getting our vote for being the head-turner is the bride herself. Genelia chose her outfits well and looked resplendent in a pale pink and ivory lehenga by Manish Malhotra which she wore for the sangeet. The make-up was subtle and the outfit was paired with elegant diamond and emerald jewellery. We liked the fact that the blushing bride wore her hair in an updo, a welcome change indeed. She also used her winning smile as the perfect accessory.

Urumi Malayalam Movie Turns PNU in Tamil Gossips & Stills

Urumi though being a Malayalam film it gained lot of attention as the film is being made in Tamil, Hindi and English.

The film stars Prithviraj, Genelia, Vidya Balan, Tabu and Prabhu Deva in the lead roles while Arya, Nithya Menon, Chandan Roy Sanya and others play supporting roles. The Tamil version of the film is titled as Pathinaindham Nootrandu Uraivaal (PNU) while the English version is named as The Boy Who Wanted to Kill Vasco Da Gama.

The film is based on fictional story that takes place way back in 15th-century in Kerala. Urumi revolves around four young men whose plan is to kill Portuguese explorer Vasco Da Gama. This magnum opus is being directed by Santosh Sivan. Prithvi Raj, Santhosh Sivan and Shaji Natesan are producing the film under August Cinema banner. Deepak Dev is scoring the music for this film.

Urumi is all set to hit the screens worldwide in four languages on March 31, 2011 as a big summer treat.
