After a global casting search for many months now, Twentieth Century Fox has finally announced that actor Jai Courney has landed the coveted role of John McClane's (Bruce Willis) estranged son, Jack in A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD ( that's a fifth DIE HARD movie, if you are counting). A Good Day to Die Hard puts McClane on an international stage - truly a NYC fish out of water in Moscow - and introduces his estranged son Jack. An apple that has not fallen far from the tree, Jack may even be more of a hardass than his father. Despite their differences, they must work together to keep each other alive - and the world safe for democracy.
The film begins production this April, for a February 14, 2013 release.

If Jai Courtney does well in the upcoming A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD, he is well on his way to become the next sought-after Hollywood actors to look for in the future. He had previously appeared as Varro in the TV's Spartacus: Vengeance, and the upcoming thriller, ONE SHOT (2013) in which he joins Tom Cruise and Rosamund Pike.
